Only few people use to construct their building with the Qualified engineers, 

To Find the volume of material in lorry first you should know the body size of the truck

If the sizeof the truck is trapezoidal these is the formula to calculate

A=(a+b/2)*H

Assume that 

L1 = 4.6m L2 = 4.0m H = 1.4m B = 2.5

let as consider a as L1 and b as L2

A= (4.6+4.0/2)*1.4

A = (8.6/2)*1.4

A = 4.3*1.4

A = 6.03 m2

TO Find its volume V = ??

V= A*B

V= 6.02*2.5 

V= 15.05 m3

We generally use to say Quantity of material in truck by units or by a tons

So to find in unit

Unit = 15.05/2.83                                 1 m3 = 35.31 cft (100*35.31)=2.83

Unit = 5.31
